About Sofia Adams
I am a member of the University of Richmond Class of 2024 (senior). I am pursuing majors in both leadership studies and business. My professional interests include recruiting, human resources, marketing, consulting, and business management. I was one of approximately 90 students in the class of 2024 accepted into the Jepson School of Leadership Studies. The foundation of the Jepson curriculum is an in-depth study of ethics, quantitative social sciences, and critical thinking. My studies in the program focus on identifying and tackling issues from multiple angles, developing written and group communication skills, and research methods/data analysis. I am also a Business Administration major with a concentration in Marketing at the Robins School of Business. My coursework at the Robins school includes Financial and Managerial Accounting, Principles of Marketing, Organizational Behavior and Strategic Management. I am involved in a number of student organizations and hold several leadership positions within the university community. I was selected to be an official university tour guide after a competitive application and interview process. I serve as a Public Relations Coordinator and a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for my sorority. 2022 will mark the first year that Richmond hosts “Relay For Life”, I am acting as the Social Media and Publicity Chair for this important charitable event.
