As the technical lead for the highly regarded and award-winning CSU Student Success Dashboards, I drive the end-to-end development of data-driven web applications that empower university leaders to make informed decisions. Partnering closely with senior leadership—including the Assistant Vice Chancellor, department directors, and data scientists—I lead the creation of innovative methodologies and intuitive visualizations that transform complex datasets into actionable insights.In this role, I combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision, leading projects from concept to delivery. I played a key role in scaling the CSU Student Success Dashboards into a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product, making it possible for other university systems to license and adopt the platform.My technical responsibilities focus on architecting and building scalable, high-performance web solutions using technologies such as Laravel (PHP), JavaScript (with jQuery and modern frameworks), HTML5/CSS3 (Bootstrap and Material Design), and SQL. My primary project is the Student Success Dashboards, but I also lead the development of smaller, highly specialized web applications, ensuring the same level of quality, scalability, and usability across all platforms.Beyond development, my leadership contributions include:Software Architecture & Engineering: Designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions to meet both current needs and future growth opportunities.Project Management & Collaboration: Guiding cross-functional teams and managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables while fostering strong collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Technical Mentorship & Best Practices: Providing guidance on code management, performance optimization, security, and scalable design, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
