A member of the Lancaster (Ohio) Division of Police since 2005, serving in multiple capacities, including patrol officer, detective, Major Crimes Unit, Special Response Team member, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, deputy chief of police, and chief of police. A leader and former commander of the department’s Special Response Team and Special Services units. In January 2022, promoted to deputy chief of police and, a short time later, to chief of police.Graduated from Ohio University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and accounting and is completing a Master of Science in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership at the University of San Diego. A graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Institute program. Memberships and accreditations include the Police Executive Research Forum, FBI-LEEDA, Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police, International Association of Chiefs of Police, International Homicide Investigators Association, and the Ohio Tactical Officers Association.
