About Sonya Weathers
I started my career in the spirit industry, as a dancer, instructor, coach, adjudicator. I later moved to working behind the scenes in the realm of Sales, Staffing, and Event Production as a Regional Sales Director for Varsity Spirit. The most rewarding aspect of my time at Varsity Spirit was the incredible impact that I was able to make on aspiring athletes. I had the opportunity to work in a very unique environment for nearly 20 years, while developing into a highly motivated and skilled business professional. My current position as a National Account Executive in the Background Screening Division at Data Facts consists of several responsibilities including prospecting for new business, maintaining solid relationships with current clients, and staying educated on the current issues in the world of background screening. This is a very rewarding position in which to be, as what I do on a day-to-day basis helps to protect businesses and organizations. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my Bichon Frise \"puppy\". I\'m an NBA fan and try to attend a Memphis Grizzlies game here and there.
