Responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the organization. Plan and direct the Economic Development District (EDD) and Certified Regional Development Corporation (CRDC). Design and administer budgets; develop operations and marketing plans and procedures; supervise staff; develop and integrate best practices and professional standards; and establish professional relationships for issue resolution and business/community advocacy. Perform complex analysis, consultative and technical work in the planning, development, and implementation of SMDC\'s economic development strategic programs. Direct market research activities, business plans development and analysis, evaluation of technical and other information to determine feasibility and economic impact of proposed entrepreneurial and economic developments.
