About Sanket Chavan
Numbers have fascinated me since childhood. Later, when I discovered statistics, I was struck by its presence, relevance, and utility in almost every field of life. And as statistics does not always mean dealing with numbers. In fact, the field of statistics is about looking beyond the numbers. The power of statistics to uncover patterns and insights sparked my passion for the field, and I knew I wanted to become a statistician.My academic achievements, which laid the foundation for my growing career, were enriched by my excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities. From the beginning up to this stage of my student life I have participated and succeeded in many essay and elocution competitions, quizzes, competitive, scholarship and entrance examinations. I am a quick learner. My friends and colleagues always ask their queries and I always try to solve their doubts. I am proficient in elucidating statistical concepts so that it could be understandable to everyone.I maintain a desire to employ my knowledge of theoretical and applied statistics for the welfare of society and human beings. I am willing to provide my expertise in Data Analysis, Data Science, Statistical Programming, Quantitative, Business Analysis, Statistical Consultancy, Bio-statistics, Econometrics etc.I am always eager to contribute to an organisation which provides me an opportunity to work for the welfare of society and to improve my skills and knowledge to grow along with the organization objective.

Selected for the National Internship in Official Statistics (NIOS) 2025, organized by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), Government of India.I am currently interning at the National Statistics Office (Field Operations Division), Regional Office, Pune. Under the guidance of my assigned mentor, Mr. Naresh Patil (Deputy Director, RO Pune).
