I lead Engineering at askporter, an AI platform transforming service delivery across global real estate and facilities management.Operating as a true player–coach, I combine hands-on technical leadership with full ownership of engineering strategy, delivery, and organisational performance. I partner closely with Product and Platform leadership to align technical execution with commercial priorities — ensuring we ship scalable, secure, and revenue-impacting features at pace.My focus has been building a high-trust, high-accountability engineering culture with clear career progression, strong delivery discipline, and predictable execution. I’ve introduced structured planning and estimation frameworks, strengthened cross-functional collaboration, and embedded continuous improvement into our operating rhythm.Beyond product delivery, I own the broader technical operating environment — including Business IT strategy, security and compliance (ISO / Cyber Essentials), vendor and DevOps management, and platform cost governance. This ensures our infrastructure, tooling, and AI capabilities scale sustainably as the business grows.I remain deeply hands-on, contributing to architecture, technical design, and critical code paths, while driving adoption of AI across both our product and internal engineering workflows.I’m passionate about building engineering organisations that don’t just deliver software — they create durable technical advantage.
