I’ve worked as a professional communicator since 1995, building a career at the intersection of technology, clarity and organisational alignment.I currently lead a distributed content team at Qlik, a global provider of cloud solutions for data integration, analytics and governance. Over the past decade, I’ve progressed from individual contributor to content operations leader, managing teams and helping organisations navigate growth, structural change and post-acquisition integration.My work sits where strategy meets execution: aligning cross-functional teams, simplifying operating models, introducing AI thoughtfully into workflows, and maintaining delivery continuity during periods of change. I’m particularly interested in how clarity scales — and how organisations can reduce friction before complexity compounds.Earlier in my career, I worked across business intelligence, business rules management systems, mobile telecoms and web content management, and coauthored BusinessObjects XI Release 2 For Dummies and The Unofficial Guide to Windows Vista (Wiley).Originally from Scotland, I worked in Barcelona between 1995 and 2001 and have been based in Paris since 2001 (and am now French as well as British). Alongside my native English, I speak fluent French and Spanish, with working knowledge of several other European languages.
