As a Licenced Home Inspector, I conduct residential home and condominium inspections for homeowners, buyers and sellers all across the Greater Toronto Area. Through the inspection process, I assess the general condition of the main systems (ex. heating, cooling, electrical, etc). The focus is to help identify any potential major issues that may need to be addressed in the short term, but I also to take the time to document any other potential maintenance or safety issues that may be identified.Whether representing the buyer or seller, the end product is the same - an unbiased condition report. To ensure I maintain an ethical position, I always imagine that someone important to me will be living in the space (I love to use my Mother as an example). Keep in mind that I am also a big believer in preventative maintenance and safety. I love to educate my clients/agents, so I encourage all interested parties to attend and engage throughout the inspection process. Onsite interaction with the clients allows them the opportunity to get a sense of the home in a short period of time. This is especially helpful for first-time buyers, and for professionals, whose skills and strengths are in an unrelated field.Upon finishing the onsite inspection process, I summarize the key findings in person and then later that same day provide my clients with a clear, detailed and interactive digital report. This ensures the clients have access to this information in the future and can take an informed position moving forward.
