I am an environmental epidemiologist who has 15+ years of experience integrating laboratory science and epidemiologic methods into the study of human cancer. Specifically, my research focuses on identifying social determinants of health, genetics, environmental risk factors (with a special interest in biomarkers of trace and toxic metals and tobacco exposure), and their combined role in the underlying mechanisms of disease including adult and pediatric cancer.
