Research Experience:Ph.D. thesis: “To study the effect of molecular weight of polymers as potential antiprecipitant on supersaturation”• Studied the antiprecipitants using solvent shift and solvent casting method• Studied effect of molecular weight of polymers on stability of solvent cast produced by solvent casting method• Evaluated effect of molecular weight of polymer on preparation and stability of spray dried solid dispersion M.S. thesis: “To determine fundamental difference between rheological and thermal properties of microcrystalline cellulose granules formed by using alcohol and water as granulating agents”• Determined the flow properties of granules using alcohol and water for MCC 102.• Develop a method to determine end point determination of wet granulation for MCC 102 using FT4 rheometer.• Analyzed data using BFE, SI, Permeability, Compressibility and wall friction• This new method will allow scientist to determine the end point for wet granulation from small batch to a scale up batch.Industry sponsored research project: To develop a generic formulation of a poorly soluble drug using innovative techniques.• Used techniques which are innovative yet scalable from industry perspective.• Multi tasked with industry project and my thesis project mentioned below. • Well versed with lab scale equipment related to tablets and capsules.• Studies were performed from preformulation to formulation stage including analytical techniques.• Studies were performed using lab scale equipments such as granulator, blender, FBD, 10 station minipress and coating pan.
