My BMLT degree provided me with clinical exposure, where working with samples from hospitalized patients highlighted the critical importance of translating scientific discoveries from the bench to the bedside. This experience fueled my interest in research, particularly in bioinformatics approaches to elucidate host and pathogen factors during pathogen challenges from a genomics perspective.
