ABOUT SMRITHI M SIVAKUMAR
I am a food technologist and I am actively looking for new challenges that would allow me to contribute to the advancement and innovation within the food industry. I am currently pursuing M.Sc. in Food Technology and Management from MOP Vaishnav College for Women and previously studied there for my B.Sc. Food Science and Management (20••••24).Sri Krishna Sweets, St. Isabel’s Hospital and Kaleesuwari Private Limited provided me three very important industry internships during which I was able to apply many theoretical concepts learned in class. The experiences gained during my internship deepened my understanding in food technology and reinforced my appreciation for quality control, safety, protocols, and user satisfaction. Some of my interests include development of new food products, evaluation of their sensory qualities, and regulation of food production. In addition, I am looking forward to meeting food industry professionals to advance collaboration and learning opportunities for personal and professional growth.It would greatly benefit myself and others to connect and discuss matters pertaining to food technology!
