My work blends clinical expertise, values-based leadership, and culturally responsive care to create meaningful transformation in the lives of the people and communities I serve.In my current role as Manager, Behavioral Health (Longitudinal) at Imagine Pediatrics, I lead a regional, interdisciplinary behavioral health team supporting medically complex children and adolescents experiencing significant behavioral health needs. I oversee supervisors across multiple clinical roles, strengthen team culture, and drive program outcomes through compassionate leadership, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to equity and patient-centered care. My focus includes staff development, strategic planning, workflow optimization, and championing high-quality services that truly make a difference.Alongside my healthcare leadership work, I serve clients through Speak Mija LLC, where I offer bilingual, culturally grounded coaching and resources designed to support emotional intelligence, self-love, relationship wellness, and personal growth. My mission within Speak Mija is to empower women and families through accessible tools — from guided journals to affirmation decks to educational workshops — that inspire healing, connection, and intentional living.I also continue providing therapy services through Community Arts Therapy, offering evidence-based, expressive, and culturally responsive mental health treatment in both English and Spanish. My clinical approach integrates CBT, DBT, expressive arts, and neuro-linguistic programming to support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship stressors, identity development, and life transitions.
