McAfee has $2B in global revenues with the majority being earned in the US and operates in an Up-C tax structure which is owned by Private Equity.I am responsible for management of US domestic direct taxes (Federal and State), indirect taxes (Sales & Use and Property Taxes), R&D tax credits, and tax provisions in a corporate and tiered partnership structure.Other significant duties include evaluation of tax legislation, creation and monitoring of internal controls, tax forecasting, audit defense, tax accounting, and tax technology.Major corporate projects include:Mitigation of material weaknesses in the State income tax area associated with partnership accounting and processing of state withholding tax payments in an Up-C tax organization in 2022.Re-engineering tax processes that allowed for a reorganization of the Domestic tax team which reduced headcount by 40%, reduced fees paid to 3rd party service providers, and decreased risks associated with tax accounting and audits during 2023 and 2024.Identification and implementation of Change in Accounting Method that led to a $100M reduction in taxable income for tax year 2024.Tax Lead for the implementation of WorkDay ERP and migration of tax information from SAP ERP to PRISM in 2025.Tax Lead for the Sovos integration for global indirect tax processing of customer invoices and processing supplier invoices in 2025.
