We serve academic researchers in the US and throughout the world, and economic development practitioners and consultants at the local, county, state and national levels in the US.Our data answers questions like \"which industry is growing fastest in this zip code,\"\"how have public policy decisions affected small businesses\" and \"which publicly traded companies have added locations post-pandemic.\"YourEconomy is part of the Office of Business & Entrepreneurship at the Universities of Wisconsin.While YourEconomy is part of a large institution of higher education, my current job is closer to entrepreneur/small business CEO.• Sales: Increased annual revenue by 140% in 18 months.• Product development: solicit feedback from customers, build technical specifications, design, code, launch, promote and sell new product.• Financial management: set revenue goals, develop and manage annual budget.• Marketing: author and execute monthly email marketing campaigns to multiple target audiences, co-author our website, select and attend conferences and trade shows.• Nurture prospects and customers: respond to all inquiries, provide product demonstrations, sales proposals, contract agreements, invoicing and accounts receivable follow up as needed.• Technical: co-administrate a very large time series database (50 million records,~300 variables per record, write SQL scripts, build visualizations.• Vendor relations: communicate with key vendors and work with internal partners to negotiate contract terms.
