About Erin Smith
A Bay Area native raised in the heart of Silicon Valley, I am a product of my environment having held positions within tech locals like VeriSign and Blue Coat (both now Symantec) and Aerohive (now Extreme Networks) as a repeat “quota-crusher” and President’s Club achiever before retiring my Sales hat and joining Palo Alto Networks’ Customer Success division in January of 2017. Living in this valley has also allowed the athlete slash artist in me to flourish in the professional cheerleading arena within national legends like the San Francisco 49ers, San Jose SaberCats and the Golden State Warriors. Each of these has presented to me extraordinary experiences, affording me the ability to partake in many charity events and activities, travel across the globe, and has taught me the diligence and focus required to be an effective brand ambassador and elite performer while balancing a Technology career. Today, I simply love being a people leader and coaching at work and being a mom to two rescue cats at home. A juicy novel (both the one I am reading and the one I am writing) paired with a latte brings me an irrational amount of joy, and strength training, well, let’s just say that while I am decent, I dream to one day list it as a specialty.
