ABOUT SMITHA GUNDAVAJHALA
I am an attorney working in commercial litigation. In my role, I help companies navigate litigation from inception through trial. My background in technology policy and the life sciences helps me parse the complex issues that often arise in commercial actions. I aim to build relationships with and serve a range of clients, from the food industry to technology to real estate. I also advise companies on regulatory compliance with domestic and international privacy laws and regulations concerning artificial intelligence products.At the University of Washington School of Law, I focused on health and technology law while in law school, and worked in litigation, legislative advocacy, and regulatory compliance. I served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Journal of Law, Technology & Arts, where I worked to make legal scholarship accessible to students, lawyers, and the broader community. Outside of law school, I stayed in touch with my background in public policy as an Advisory Board Member for New Deal for Youth, which was formed by the Center for Law and Social Policy in Washington, D.C.
