About Smita Nirkhi Singh

Dr. Smita Nirkhi received her Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering Department from Nagpur University in 2017. She has a rich teaching and research experience. Her areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Digital Forensics, Cyber security, Pattern recognition, deep Learning, and Machine learning. She has been nominated as a Panel Member Judge for Data Science Awards 2020 & 2021 in four categories. She has received accolade “Outstanding Woman in Engineering-2019” by Venus International Foundation, Best Teacher Award by universal Innovators Leadership award-2021, Nari Samman Award by Literoma-2021 and Elite teacher from I2OR-2021.She has authored a book titled “Data mining in cyber forensics: A Systematic Approach” by scholars’ press. She has published more than 50 research papers in peer reviewed Journals and International Conferences. She is shouldering the responsibility of potential peer reviewer as well as editorial board member for many journals of repute and Conferences. She is a Professional Member of the Computer Society of India (CSI), Senior Member of fellow member of IEI, Life member of ISTE and Internet Society. She has received a grant of INR 08 Lacs, under the Research Project Scheme from AICTE for her remarkable Research project and GOC grant of INR for organizing International Conference from AICTE.
