Specialist in Corporate Law, Human Resource, Responsible mining, Corporate Responsibility, Business and Human Rights and Corporate Governance Worked with Corporate-Private and Public Sector, Government, UN,NGO-State, National and International Experience, Publication House Total 18 years of work experience with Cpse, Government, UN, businesses, civil society organizations and bilateral organizations furthering legal compliance, corporate responsibility, Human Rights within Business in India through: Influencing Public Sector for sustainable mining through legal compliance, CSR, environmental promotion and protection and integrating HR in practice and procedures. Influencing private Sector in furthering the Corporate Responsibility (CR) agenda by integrating CR issues into business decision making across its sphere of influence. Following were some of the objectives fulfilled: Demonstrating to businesses opportunities for enhancing their positive impact on the lives of its stakeholders Promote the understanding and benefits of Sustainability Reporting Assisting companies in integrating CR issues across their value chain Engaging with business on its human rights impact and performance Working with vulnerable and marginalised communities, workers, other stakeholders through providing for representation of the perspectives of vulnerable and marginalized in the development of national and international CR standards Engaging with Governments at the Central and State level to create conditions that promote responsible business.
