I have a basic understanding in building envelope, renewable energy, mechanical & electrical building systems, and net-zero technologies, I bring a unique blend of skills to the field. With a strong academic training in AutoCAD 2D, Revit MEP, and energy modeling software such as RETScreen, eQUEST, and I am skilled in developing design documents and deliverables in 2D and 3D using Revit and AutoCAD. I also possess a solid understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and can read mechanical, electrical, and architecture drawings. In my previous roles as a CAD Designer (Revit) and Energy Auditor at M&E Engineering Ltd, I have successfully prepared CAD drawings, specifications, and details to support remedial designers and construction contractors. I have also designed various mechanical systems in compliance with provincial and national building codes, and performed diagnostics and repairs on residential and commercial air conditioning systems. My experience also includes participating in environmental testing and monitoring, reviewing HVAC design documents, and submitting reports on system performance. With a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and an advanced diploma in Sustainable Energy and Building Technology, I have a strong foundation in engineering principles and sustainable design practices. I am currently preparing for the LEED Green Associate exam and plan to become certified within the next month.
