ABOUT SI CHEN

At CIBC Private Banking, I serve as an Associate Private Banker, providing tailored wealth management solutions for High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth families. Leveraging expertise in lending strategies, financial analysis, and multilingual advisory, I deliver holistic and culturally attuned services to a diverse and sophisticated clientele. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Marketing from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business, and I have completed three intensive gemology courses as well as the Administrative de la Relève (ADR) program from Laval University’s College of Corporate Directors (CAS). My previous roles have shaped a well-rounded career foundation. At TD Wealth, I supported multi-generational families with bespoke investment and wealth planning solutions. Earlier, at Maison Birks, where I served as Assistant Corporate Compliance Officer and Manager of Payment Operations, I developed a strong compliance-first mindset and a deep understanding of luxury retail, while spearheading Asian market development through private events and digital marketing. Beyond my professional career, I am deeply engaged in public speaking and community leadership. For over a decade, I have served as Master of Ceremonies for major events such as the Canada China Entrepreneurs Council’s Annual Entrepreneurs Award, the Chinese New Year Gala at Place des Arts, and the Montreal Chinese Hospital Charity Ball, just to name a few. An active leader in the Chinese community, I am the former President of the Montreal Chinese Lions Club and a former board member of the Young Chinese Professionals Association (YCPA). In 2019, I was named one of the 10 ambassadors for the Montreal General Hospital’s Code Life project; in 2023, I joined the cabinet of the Montreal General Hospital Foundation; and in 2024, I was honored with the Legacy Award by Senator Victor Oh for my contributions to the community.
