Full ownership of the non-corporate year-end reporting function including the preparation of statutory accounts under appropriate accounting standards and liaison with external auditors.Ensure that the non-corporate balance sheet reconciliations, performed by Finance Operations, are reviewed in a timely manner.Manage the preparation and submissions of monthly, quarterly and annual non-corporate regulatory returns to external bodies including ONS and HMRC. Development and implementation of internal controls and financial procedures.Act as a role model for others within Finance and be a true business partner to the wider business.Ensure that the balance sheet reconciliations, performed by Finance Operations, are reviewed in a timely manner and provide coaching and feedback to improve the timeliness and accuracy of reconciliations.Report scheme and entity balance sheets, including narrative, to the CFO and senior staff within Finance on a monthly basisManage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process for non-corporate regulatory returns, including implementing enhancements and improvements to controls and financial proceduresWork with other departments to ensure any management responses to external audit findings or recommendations are acted upon and, where possible, not reported again in future auditsMaintain up to date and forward looking knowledge of financial reporting regulationsUndertake ad-hoc duties as directed and agreed with Financial Controller or Chief Finance OfficerAdhere to Company Risk Management policy and procedures, including reporting of incidents or breaches.Apply and promote Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) culture and principles, together with the organization\'s behaviours and values.Promote and adhere to Company Diversity & Inclusion policy.
