Seasoned bilingual executive specialized in finance and strategic initiative management and deployment. For the last 18 years, he mainly worked with companies operating in the media, communication as well as software and digital media fields. Results and innovation oriented, he is a change agent known for his strong leadership, his business acumen and ability to analyze and grasp the full potential of new initiatives as well as structure a performing organization prepared to efficiently act upon those opportunities. MAIN EXPERTISE AND PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS Defined digital business model & strategy and lead financial and operation implementation across Canada. An initiative that have required 25M$ in investment, created 55 new jobs and growth revenues by 75% to 7.5M$ within one year. Evaluated target acquisitions, conducted due diligence reviews and ensured there financial and operational integration in connection with acquisitions ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to over $1 billion in the media, communication and entertainment sectors. Started-up a company, which included setting up the administrative team, creating the corporate legal structure needed to operate in the Canadian and U.S. markets, as well as implementing procedures and systems required for the accounting, legal and human resources divisions to function smoothly. Reorganized and lead cross-functional teams, which resulted in improved operations and substantial savings. Implemented management tools, such as a monthly review, budget template and scorecard to ensure efficient execution of strategic plan and maximize enterprise value. Set up (and redeemed) equity, institutional and private funding, as well as bank credit facilities. Planned and implemented a Canadian, U.S. and international tax strategy.
