ABOUT SAMANTHA MURDOCK HUSSEY
I recently graduated from the University of Texas in Austin where I received a B.S. in Radio-Television-Film and a minor in English. I am a freelance director, writer, and producer with experience in all of the areas above. I also have extensive experience in academic and journalistic writing, event photography, and event planning. I have an immense passion for film and television. My goal is to create projects that are important to me and help others tell their stories as well. During my time as a student, I was an active member of the Austin film scene, and still am, I attended the UTLA program where I interned at Dark Castle Entertainment and Dirty Films as a development intern, and I was president of Delta Kappa Alpha - a coed professional film fraternity. Lastly, I had the amazing opportunity to take the undergraduate thesis class two years in a row as a producer and a director.
