ABOUT SUSAN HOGAN
With over 20 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor and over 13 years as LPC-supervisor, I am passionate about providing ethical and evidence-based mental health services to clients who suffer from treatment resistant depression, grief/loss, PTSD, anxiety, and who are victims of crime. I believe that healing is possible through a trauma-informed lens and a collaborative relationship between the client and the therapist. I use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, a Feminist/Collaborative lens, and I\'m Internal Family Systems - Informed to help clients achieve healing.At Therapath Mental Health I work with clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss as well as childhood abuse. I offer telehealth sessions to remove barriers and increase accessibility for those who need my services. Previously, I worked at Heading Health with clients who were prescribed Ketamine or Spravato for treatment resistant depression, as a senior crisis center counselor at Parkland Hospital, where I saw clients who were victims of abuse and other crimes. I also provide ethical supervision to LPC-Associates and I have worked in community-oriented clinics to serve underserved populations. I have skills in counseling, supervision, and substance abuse prevention, and I view the work through a multicultural lens.
