ABOUT S M HUMAYUN KABIR

As I have worked in a unique profession called pharmaceutical marketing, it has given me ample opportunity to gain experience in marketing, advertising, sales, customer service and data analysis. I have worked in this industry for more than 12 years. Earlier I completed my post graduate degree in both pharmaceutical sciences and business administration. I believe I can be well explained through the following narratives- When comes to pharmaceutical marketing, one must be super creative to develop advertising materials as they are targeted towards patients but must be promoted to the Doctors only. I had to focus on content writing and design concept of the advertisement in such a way, so that it must be innovative to touch the heart of the customers- Strong command over analytical skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, BI) helped me not only to analyze the gap, opportunities and strength to sharpen strategies but also facilitated to be a part of the Company forecast, budget and P&L team to collaborate with higher management. Moreover, I trained the new recruits on Microsoft excel- Upholding professional relationship with top clients in the industry and acquiring rich customer insights enabled me to determine their needs and identify new opportunities. Organized national and international workshops, scientific seminars, and symposiums. Personally visited existing and prospective customers to achieve better working relationship- Resilient interpersonal and presentation skill has alleviated me to win with my ideas and inspire others. I have represented my company and department through presentations and public speaking outside of the company. I anchored in numerous programs and conferences of the company- As Group Coordinator my focus was to bring out the best of team members to achieve set goals through motivation and skill enhancement. My appetite to improve productivity helped my team to be the best in what we did. Listening to customers, and handling of complaints helped me to improve problem solving and decision-making skills. Moreover, I have worked as Module champion in ERP implementation (Oracle) in Beximco Pharma which has given me the opportunity to work with process development. My major involvement was in the development of business intelligence tool (BI) for marketing department. I do love to play Cricket, Table Tennis and Chess. Traveling is my obsession and photography is passion. My aspiration is to create disruption in the marketing sector through blending of technology and analytics in a productive manner.
