Responsible for performing proper regulatory due diligence in support of SubCom\'s Marine Services\' cable installation and repair projects worldwide to ensure that project activities, such as marine cable route surveys and installations, are conducted on schedule and within budget in compliance with national, state, and local regulatory requirements or international equivalents. Duties include interfacing and coordinating internally within SubCom\'s organization and externally with customers, suppliers, and regulators; management and tracking of regulatory requirements, scoping, acquisition, and compliance, and coordination of efforts with subcontractors, SubCom\'s project teams, customers, and regulators; creating and updating permitting plans of work (POW) to manage and track permitting efforts; contracting and managing subcontractors including adherence to scopes of work (SOW) and schedules; preparing and updating weekly reports to status permitting efforts; identifying and categorizing regulatory risk and developing mitigation strategies to avoid or minimize regulatory risk; and management of internal budgets, contractor billing milestones, invoices, and budget forecasts.
