ABOUT SMEET MEHTA
I am a Philosophy major from the University of California, Santa Cruz. At UCSC with my professor and friends co-founded a non-profit called Getvirtual where we train students to become freelancers through a hybrid course where we first teach them to use different tools and then they work with small businesses to move their operations online. Along with this, I run the entrepreneurship club on campus. We organize events and workshops to educate students about entrepreneurship and product development. I have organized 2 TEDx events, which I am really proud of. The first one was for my high school back in India, I had organized the first one at the school, and recently the school hosted the 4th edition.The second one that I did was for Santa Cruz County, California.
