I am also the Editor of Evaluation Engineering for Endeavor Business Media.Born in October 1961, I joined the Army at 17 and eventually wound up in Germany as an EW SIGINT analyst freezing my butt off with a radio intercept team observing the Soviets on the other side of the East/West German border. The job was actually pretty cool (no pun intended) and I got a great hands-on grounding (pun intended) in electronics, analysis, writing, and presentation, all skills that formed the core of my career. From my discharge in Jan \'83 until Oct \'97 (with a short stint from 84-86 in the US), I lived in Germany as a civilian. I worked primarily as a field sales manager for various companies selling to the American military via the PX/BX (I was the Budweiser guy (along with other brands) at Rhein-Main Air Base during Desert Storm/Desert Shield/Provide Comfort, something I\'m proud of). I also wrote for several publications there on topics from commerce to computers.I\'ve been most active in publishing since my return to the USA, For a short time, I held a marketing and business development position, but quickly returned to media as soon as I could. As for understanding the web, in 2011 one of the websites I was responsible for redesigning and repurposing to better address its market was named one of \"10 Best Sites\" by BtB magazine as an example of a great business media website.Specialties: Writing, analysis, leadership, and organization. I can not only create new ideas, I can implement them.
