About Stephen Maloney
Results driven executive with problem solving experience and a proven track record in successfully creating and building companies. Specializes in creating innovative and practical software and technology applications along with world class teams and leading to successful outcomes including mergers, IPO and company sale. Experience, including pioneering efforts, in markets such as identity, collaboration, mobile and security. Throughout his career he has demonstrated the ability to strategically build enterprise value for investors and private equity through product development, revenue acceleration, strategic partnering and executing M&A transactions. He is currently advising companies in cyber security, identity verification and portable sovereign identities. He helped to build Acuant, a global leader in identity and digital fraud, which was successfully sold to GB Group plc (LSE: GBG). Prior to Acuant he was Co-founder, Director and President of SolutionPoint International, a diversified security and risk management company, and Chairman of Design2Launch, a pioneer in digital workflow software that was sold to Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK). He was EVP of MSA, a leader in explosive detection services and one of the first companies to receive Safety Act certification by DHS. Earlier he co-founded and was CEO of i3 Mobile, a leader in wireless information leading the company to a highly successful IPO (NASDAQ:IIM).
