I\'m responsible for supporting company-wide incident management at Epic. The LiveOps team drives incident resolution, collaborates with stakeholders and resolvers across the company, and owns the primary telemetry and alarms that tell us if Fortnite is operating successfully for our players. If something goes wrong and affects our players, developers, or partners, my team is there to help put it back on the rails.My role consists of- Training, onboarding and evangelising the Incident Management process across Epic and its subsidiaries, driving training and operational support for new studios and existing Epic teams, develop cross-studio communication channels and spread best practices learnt from Fortnite across the business- Driving project work across my team, owning projects that range from the creation of training materials to coordination of software migrations across the business- Mentoring and supporting non-senior roles across my team- Supporting incident management across Epic, coordinating resources and advocating for our players and business partners to ensure we resolve incidents with a player-first focus on the outcomes and trade-offs- Evaluating and documenting our processes to identify pitfalls and problems, and designing solutions to strengthen our processes and tools- Owning and running the incident management analytics pipeline and reporting- Design and document UX/UI improvements for both incident management tooling and processes
