About Sara Radcliffe
With more than 25 years in the life sciences sector, I advance biomedical innovation, patient safety, and patient access through strategic policy leadership, cross sector engagement, and evidence-based advocacy. My work focuses on shaping regulatory, reimbursement, and quality frameworks that strengthen global health systems and accelerate access to high quality medicines. As Head, Global External Affairs – Biologics at USP, I lead policy and engagement efforts that support the use of public quality standards and related programs worldwide. We collaborate with regulators, industry, and global health partners to promote scientific integrity, regulatory excellence, and reliable access to high quality biologics and advanced therapies.Previously, as a Senior Adviser at Edelman Global Advisory, I helped biopharmaceutical and health-sector clients navigate complex policy environments, anticipate emerging issues, and develop proactive strategies aligned with their mission and public health goals.Earlier in my career, I served as President and CEO of California Life Sciences Association (CLSA), the state’s largest life sciences advocacy and business leadership organization. Representing more than 1,200 companies, research institutions, and investors, I led CLSA’s strategic vision and championed policies and programs that strengthened California’s life sciences ecosystem and advanced innovation, competitiveness, and patient access.Anonymous feedback welcomed here:
