In this position, I support our local school districts in the systematic implementation of career readiness in K-12 utilizing the Michigan Career Development Model. I primarily work with school counselors, teachers, and administrators to assess career readiness efforts within each school and the greater district. Supports include implementation of Educational Development Plans (EDPs), connecting to professionals (career fairs, guest speakers, panels), industry tours, connecting careers to curriculum, etc. Provide training opportunities to educators across Michigan on topics related to college and career readiness. In the 20••••25 school year, I will lead 24 sessions in synchronous and asynchronous modalities for an average of 30 participants each session.
