Drafts, edits, proofreads, and processes legal documents, including correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, briefs, complaints, motions, subpoenas, summons, CAFA notices, stock purchase agreements, stock certificates, articles of incorporation, administrative, and other documents; • Prepares documents for discovery production by using bates labels, confidentiality labels, redactions, etc. • Creates Indexes, Tables of Authority, and Tables of Contents. • Cite Checks • Conducts legal research; • Prepares trial binders;• Coordinates multi-document filings in both state and federal courts, including E-filings; • Oversees and coordinates service related to legal court documents, dockets and reports; • Communicates with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and liaisons; • Updates and maintains case information and legal files (both paper & electronic); • Organizes, scans, and files documents in designated order; • Manages document deliveries and tracks final executed documentation• Assists in obtaining/preparing transcripts and legal documents for ongoing transactions; • Maintains calendars in Outlook, arranges client meetings, opens matters, drafts engagement letters and audits responses, enters time, arranges travel, process reimbursable expenses, and collate documents; • Receives and/or screens telephone calls for supported attorneys, field calls and convey messages as necessary; • Maintains database of standardized form letters and documents; • Assists attorneys with monitoring CLE compliance period and reporting requirements; • Assists with overflow work and special projects, provides backup support to Legal Support Specialist team, assists with other department activities as needed, and perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
