ABOUT SLOAN DAWSON-KOLB

I’m a dedicated and compassionate professional with a strong foundation in psychology and sociology. My work focuses on supporting youth through behavioral and mental health services, and I\'m currently gaining hands-on experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician while preparing for graduate studies in counseling—specifically pursuing my goal of becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). Throughout my academic background, peer mentorship roles, and direct service experience—including volunteering with Crisis Text Line, where I supported individuals in moments of crisis—I’ve developed a deep understanding of how social systems and individual experiences shape behavior, and how the right support can make a lasting impact. Driven by empathy and curiosity, I’m committed to creating spaces where people feel safe, valued, and empowered. I’m always eager to learn, collaborate, and grow in ways that serve both individuals and communities. If you’re working in mental health, education, youth development, or social justice—I’d love to connect and hear your story.
