Mechanical Engineer with 12 years of experience in the rubber-molding manufacturing industry.I graduated from the University of Houston becoming a Mechanical Engineer with a certificate in Petroleum Technology. My experience has been specifically in the rubber-molding and mold manufacturing industry. My role includes a various amount of duties, including but not limited to: component part/mold design, troubleshoot non-conforming products, managing projects to meet deadlines and customer requirements from the RFQ phase to full Production Approval.Competencies: SolidWorks Standard, SolidWorks Inspection, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Fluent in English and Spanish, understanding mechanical properties of most elastomer materials and testing. Applying lean six sigma concepts. Knowledge of GD & T, machine tooling, CNC manufacturing, fixture and die design.
