ABOUT KONSTANTY SLIWOWSKI
I\'m the interview guy founders call before they hire. Twenty years building companies and hiring people. interviews. 1,200+ hires across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. Three companies built, two founder exits and two post-merger integrations behind me. The pattern I keep seeing: most bad hires aren\'t bad people. They\'re the wrong people. And they\'re the wrong people because the interview never surfaced what mattered. Most interviews don\'t. The questions miss what counts. The people in the room aren\'t trained to read what they\'re hearing. By the end, the decision comes down to impressions, assumptions, and gut feel, not defensible facts. With AI now in the room on both sides, it\'s harder than ever to tell what\'s real. I work with founders, leadership teams, and PE and VC funds to fix this at three levels. For the hire you can\'t afford to get wrong. I run Critical Hire. We define the role together (not the JD, the actual job: success criteria, deal breakers, what good looks like in 3, 6, and 12 months). I interview your finalists myself, in structured 75 to 90 minute sessions. You get a written scorecard within 48 hours on each one. Cold, hard facts. A decision you can defend to yourself, your co-founder, and your board. For the team that needs to do this internally. I train managers and leadership teams to interview properly. Over 300 leaders trained in the last two years across founder-led companies, scale-ups, and PE-backed portcos. The Interview Mastery Program is the productised version: cohort-based, on-demand, or run inside your business as a team workshop. For the operating system underneath it all. Klareda is the platform I built to make the methodology repeatable: structured interviews, scorecards, decision data your team can defend at the board level. Deployed across single companies and across portfolios. This is not recruiting. Not search. The layer above both, where the decision actually gets made. The work has supported leadership hires, post-merger integrations, leadership team rebuilds, and value-creation programmes for funds across DACH, the UK, the Nordics, the US, and beyond. If you\'re about to make a hire you can\'t afford to get wrong, book a 20-minute call. Link in the featured section.
