Review and validate engineering design (PFDs, P & IDs, layout drawings, isometrics, equipment datasheets) to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards (e.g, ASME, API, ISO).• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and interface challenges.• Monitor and evaluate piping construction activities to ensure alignment with project schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements.• Perform technical review of material selection (MTO/BOM), welding procedures, and design.• Participate in factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), as well as pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.• Supervise and support site inspections, including hydrotest, NDT, dimensional checks, and installation verification.• Ensure compliance with project safety requirements, method statements, and risk assessments (JSA/HIRA).• Support project documentation, including technical reports, change requests, and punch list management.• Monitor progress, quality, and cost performance of mechanical and piping scopes, reporting deviations and proposing corrective actions.• Act as liaison between Owner’s team and EPC contractor to ensure successful project execution from engineering to start up.
