ABOUT SLAWOMIR PIETRUSZEWSKI
Over the last few years, I have developed procurement and business operational skills working as a senior buyer and as a production manager. To successfully fulfil these roles, I had to closely liaise with many external suppliers and internal stakeholders. I have chosen to pursue the purchasing avenue to broaden my overall business skills and to give me a better understanding of 360-degree business management. I founded a real estate business that furnishes me with the next level of business acumen. I thrive on challenges and I am always eager to improve the things that are around me.I possess comprehensive cross-functional experience, including the ability to manage a large team. With a proven track record of implementing dozens of projects in a procurement role, as well as within the manufacturing field, I have greatly enhanced health and safety practices, improving the efficiency of business processes and reduction of operational costs.I have a firm stance that the best way to improve any complex problem is to disassemble it, identify the faulty elements, repair or replace and improve it. If something is wrong, say it\'s wrong, investigate it, and put corrective measures in place. The daily improvement initiative is the best method to begin the journey, continue the exponential change, and simultaneously minimise disruptions within the business. All game changers are aware that most organizational changes will lead to questioning the Status Quo. Most often than not, a destructive Status Quo is desired to be maintained by certain individuals within many organizations, but it is unsustainable in our fast-changing world, therefore, I am always encouraging change in order to support progress and keep the momentum of the motivation, focusing on what can be done, rather than what cannot, and figuring out a sustainable solution to a problem. I am eager to improve everything by continuously raising standards, I always look for new ways of doing things to get better results: the great is the enemy of the good, I say.Not getting complacent is helping me to keep myself motivated, even when there is no certainty or clarity. It isn\'t easy to maintain this approach but acknowledging that the path is going to get bumpy and rough, and understanding the process, allow me to overcome the fear of failure, focus on the results and remove any roadblocks that most often than not, are appearing on the way.My mottos:\"Challenge everything\",\"Everything Matters\" & “If you do what\'s easy, your life will be hard. But if you do what\'s hard, your life will be easy.”
