The Jobs Data team, originally conformed by 2 Data Engineers, 2 Data Scientists and a Product Owner, started with the goal of being the Business partner of the Data Products in the Jobs BU. Originally aiming for improving the Job Recommendations and Job Searches, to provide personalized results to our users. Nowadays, the Team has grown to have 6 Data Engineers, 2 Data Scientists, a Product Owner and a Working Student. Projects ownership and full responsibilities have been transferred to our team, being now accountable for the Job Recommendation system, Job Searches system and Jobs Data Enrichment. As a Data Engineer, my main tasks are writing code to improve our data products and pipelines, provide code reviews, challenge existing and new solutions, assure data quality and keep learning new technologies to keep our stack up to date. I also take part in the hiring process, during the technical assessment of the candidates.
