ABOUT SAMANTHA LACEY

I have a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and certificates in Quantitative Research Methods and Occupational Health Psychology from the University of Connecticut where my research largely focused on topics related to organizational climate/culture and employee health and well-being. I have extensive training and eight years of applied experience as an Industrial/Organizational Psychology PhD student, consultant, and research/project manager, practicing the art and science of developing, analyzing and translating the results of complex research projects for diverse audiences (e.g, executives, HR leaders, researchers). I have a knack and passion for bringing data to life and making science accessible through written, verbal, and visual communication. I enjoy going beyond the numbers, contextualizing results and providing actionable recommendations so that decision makers are motivated and equipped to act. I pride myself on my ability to actively listen and decipher stakeholders’ needs, and to build strong and trusting working relationships with them and those that I collaborate with. I am a creative and thoughtful team player that has both the experience and heart needed to ignite change and make a long-lasting impact on any team or organization. I’m eager to learn and grow with a community of thought leaders that share in a passion to drive action and make work better for all!
