ABOUT SHENGKAI ZHANG

Shengkai (Aaron) Zhang is a project-oriented HR and operations professional with a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University.Currently, Aaron works as an HR Business Partner supporting multi-site warehouse operations, where he manages workforce planning, labor vendor coordination, attendance and productivity tracking, compliance processes, and cross-team communication between HR, operations, finance, and external staffing agencies. His work focuses on translating operational needs into clear HR actions and building scalable, data-driven processes in fast-paced environments.Aaron also has hands-on experience in project management and data analysis, having led and supported projects across nonprofit organizations, research institutions, and private companies. He has managed timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables while using tools such as Excel, Python, and STATA to analyze operational, policy, and workforce data for decision-making.With experience spanning public sector research, nonprofit operations, and global corporations, Aaron brings a cross-sector and cross-border perspective to problem-solving. He is particularly interested in roles that sit at the intersection of people operations, project execution, and data-informed strategy, where structure, clarity, and execution matter.
