About Skyler Delatorre

As the attached resume shows, I am effective in both individual and team settings. As an intern at Janicki Industries, I completed a variety of project management and engineering tasks including but not limited to CAD design, composite fabrication, inventory control, purchase order planning and creation, sales and bid creation, cost metrics and analysis, capacity analysis, and report generation and presentation. As a member of the Society for Advanced Rocket Propulsion I work with a small team that is developing and manufacturing a composite overwrapped pressure vessel. In this role I have created models of composite structures in Solidworks, will run FEA simulations, and will participate in the manufacturing of the vessel. As a member of the Washington Superbike team at the University of Washington, I have designed a composite fairing for motorcycle aerodynamics using Solidworks to create models of the composite structure. As the Inventory Control Manager at Ted Brown Music Co, I managed the inventory of each of our six Washington locations and facilitated weekly cyclical inventories by communicating with employees from each store. During this time, I was working and attending school, both full time.
