During my graduate degree, I sharpened my skills as an environmental scientist and now hope to start a career planning and implementing restoration. Research: • Planned and implemented three large scale restoration projects totaling over ponderosa pine seedlings. • Recruited, organized, and managed crews of 5-20 people. • Designed experimental layouts, fencing layouts, and all associated topographical and schematic maps. • Analyzed field and laboratory sampling of over 2,500 seedlings at a time. • Collected, organized, and managed field data. • Manuscript writing and publications. Other Duties: • Propagation, thinning, and weed management in greenhouse. • Mine reclamation data collection. • Provenance test pine collection and species maintenance. • Planned and facilitated tree planting workshops and reforestation techniques presentations for groups of 20+.
