Hello, my name is Skyler Hartman! I’m currently a student in the Texas Lutheran University Accelerated Nursing Program, working hard towards earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I’m also a proud graduate of Sam Houston State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences.For over three years, I’ve been a Patient Care Assistant at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, specifically on a neurology medical-surgical unit. This role has truly solidified my passion for nursing. Every day, I’m reminded of why I chose this path—to care for people when they need it most. It’s a privilege to support patients and their families during such critical times.As I look ahead to graduation, I’m excited to find a New Graduate RN position that will allow me to continue making a difference. My dream is to become a Registered Nurse who provides compassionate, thoughtful care to those who can’t care for themselves.
