The Northrop Grumman locations in Utah have a long history of providing high quality solid rocket motors for government and commercial programs. These locations supported the shuttle program and ULA launches to the ISS, and are currently supporting ground reading developments in hypersonic weapons. • Defined process requirements, scope, and performance to contractors for new facilities that will increase production by 100% • Integrated crane and turntable PLC control systems with Foxboro DCS using Matrikon OPC to add functionality and continuity for operations • Developed and instructed new employee training program on Foxboro DCS principles including 4 hours of in-person training and 5 exercises comprising 20 hours of work • Organized 5 Capstone projects to utilize over hours of student engineering on projects addressing redundancy, reliability, obsolescence, modernization, and ergonomic considerations
