At Jackman Construction, I support the successful delivery of residential and commercial construction projects from planning through to closeout. My role bridges the gap between field and office operations, ensuring projects stay on track and stakeholders are aligned. Key responsibilities include:Project Tracking & Scheduling: Monitor construction progress and milestones using MS Project and Procore, updating schedules and reporting on key deliverables to keep projects on target.RFI & Submittal Management: Prepare, track, and follow up on Requests for Information (RFIs), shop drawings, and submittals to maintain project momentum and resolve issues proactively.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, project logs, and site documentation to support communication and timely decision-making.Coordination with Trades & Consultants: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support coordination efforts, resolve on-site challenges, and implement solutions efficiently.Quality & Compliance Support: Review drawings and specifications to ensure construction activities align with design intent, code requirements, and client expectations.This role has allowed me to sharpen my project coordination and communication skills, while gaining deeper exposure to field operations and contractor-side construction management.
