About Skylar Galloway
I am a Master\'s of Public Health (MPH) student at the University of Lynchburg, graduating in 2026, with a major interest in the combination of veterinary medicine and human health through the concept of One Health. I recently earned my Bachelor\'s of Science in Public Health from Virginia Tech, where I also conducted research with the Dog Aging Project and the Ruple Lab, focusing on how canine diet and environmental exposures impact both animal and human health. My various experiences have strengthened my commitment to improving health outcomes across species and communities. I aim to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) following my MPH, to integrate veterinary care, public health, and research to address global health challenges and improve well-being for both humans and animals.
