ABOUT SKYLAR YANKE
I am a MMgmt graduate from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, and hold a BA in Urban Studies. My educational and professional experience has given me a strong background in business management and coordination. I have diversified my skillset to include construction and sustainable building material work through my current role at Amrize GCA. Additionally I offer mentorship and support to graduate students during and after completing their post-secondary studies. I hold over 10 years work experience in leadership roles and am looking to grow my career within the construction industry. My experience as a national and international competitive athlete has provided further transferable skills including collaboration, problem solving and diplomacy. I have a passion for helping others and during my spare time you can find me volunteering with Special Olympics athletes, and coaching/training them for their upcoming competitions. I also serve as a member on the Advisory Board for Lived Experience (A.B.L.E) at iNeuron and am passionate about Epilepsy advocacy and bringing awareness and support to the Special Needs Community.
